Over 10,128 HOSA members, advisors and guests participated in HOSA’s International Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL, June 21-24, 2017. HOSA-Future Health Professionals from all over the country, Canada, American Samoa and Puerto Rico came together to compete, learn and share their HOSA experiences.  Conference highlights included 57 health-related competitive events, 128 educational workshops, and a keynote address from author, Paralympian and motivational speaker, Josh Sundquist. NH VT HOSA is proud to announce student finalists placing top 10 internationally. Salem High School’s team of Parker Belsky, Amanda Maille, Alexis Ahern, and Nicole Maheu placed 4th in the ever popular and competitive HOSA Bowl Event.  Students were well prepared with the help of their Health Science Technology Instructors Janine Parent and Marybeth Cook. Pinkerton Academy’s instructor Derek Earle enjoyed two top 10 placements with Ryan Haggart placed 6th in Medical Math, and Brendan Fitzgerald placed 4th in Medical Spelling.
