New Hampshire CTE Awards

Now is the time to recognize excellence in New Hampshire CTE!

Help us bring the best in CTE out into the spotlight by nominating someone for a New Hampshire CTE  Award! The awards will bring well-deserved prestige and recognition to teachers, administrators and supporters across the state for their innovation and dedication to career and technical education.  We are now accepting nominations for the following awards:

Teacher of the Year         Administrator of the Year 

CTE Advocate of the Year

Recognizing the best in CTE starts with YOU!  Nominations are due by December 1st and can be submitted online here.  Eligibility requirements and award application links are below.  Email support@nhcta.org for more information. 

Award Descriptions

CTE Teacher of the Year  – for teachers employed as full-time classroom/laboratory CTE unique and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote career and technical education.  Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote career and technical education.

CTE Administrator of the Year  – for those employed as full-time CTE administrators, program specialists, coordinators, and all other CTE personnel and staff  (not employed as teachers or counselors).  For who have recently provided significant contributions to professional associations and NH-CTE programs for students in their fields, communities and/or state. Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique and novel programs; and/or improvement, promotion, research or development of CTE programs.

CTE Advocate of the Year – awarded to a counselor, legislator, industry partner, DOE personnel or other supporter.  Individuals and entities that have excelled in contributing to the improvement, promotion, development and progress of CTE in New Hampshire are eligible recipients of this award.

The process

Nomination forms need to be submitted by Directors, Principals, parents, industry partners or government representatives no later than December 1st.  All nominees will be promptly notified so that they can submit a completed application form by January 1st.  Winners will be announced in February and will be recognized at a time and place to be determined.
